I'd like to drop a line to all you DFD guys that may remember my Dad, Retired LT. Peter Pink.
Pete suffered a stroke on Monday October 5th. Luckily emergency crews were able to get to him quick and he was stabilized. He is currently at Beaumont hospital. My Dad is looking at long recovery but he is in good spirits. He is well enough for visits if anyone is in the area. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to here that Pete had a stroke. Hope his recovery is fast and complete. Tell your dad that Doug Fox sends his best wishes to him. |

Just an update Pete. He returned home and is doing quite well. The doctor's said he had a "miracle recovery". He still has some limitations but he is expected to make a full recovery from the stroke. On behalf of my family thanks to everyone who supported us in our time of need. I would encourage anyone who wants to contact him to do so. He has been out of the loop for a while but having this renewed contact with old friends has helped him immensely.
